MENTALLY IN FLORIDA

Location: Fort Myers Beach!

Hey guys!

I just got back from Fort Myers and I'm seriously missing the warmth! It's currently 18 degrees here in Boston which mean I'm staying home all day. (Netflix...)
P.S. Who else is in love with Stranger Things?!
Throughout the trip, especially on the beach, I've been journaling my reflection of my first semester of college in NYC. Who else loves to journal?! It not only gives me a reason to buy a cute notebook but it's also a great way to connect with yourself more. The one I have in the first picture is from Urban Outfitters. The egg on it is adorable; kinda of reminds me of Gudetama! If you've never documented your feelings or certain events before, I'd say try it out. Looking back and reading what you wrote will make you laugh!

All you need is to dedicate a bit of your day to write. For me, I find it best to write when I want to write; don't force yourself to journal every day because then it feels more like a chore than a choice. Also, find the perfect spot to write. If you're not by a beach, don't worry. :) Find a local coffee shop to sit at or a park! Whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

Very nice photos! Hope you stay warm in Boston! I'm kinda jealous that you guys are getting the real winter weather. It's so warm here in Houston right now.
