Top- Make Me Chic (Small) \\ Pants- Zara \\ Shoes- Timberland

Hey guys!

I was having some fun with my sister and took these pictures in the Anthropology store in my local mall because why not! I loved their interior decor so I had to utilize it! I'd like to thank Make Me Chic for sending me this adorable striped ruffled top. The material has a nice stretch which makes it very wearable and comfortable. Here, I paired it with my black military pants and black Timberlands. Guess what my favorite color is...(black..and red actually!) Browsing their shop, I found lots of trendy pieces that reminded of some of my favorite shops—Zara and Urban Outfitters. Be sure to check the out! Links below the last picture or here

Although I love shopping at fast-fashion shops, I've been trying to limit myself. After watching the documentary The True Cost, it breaks my heart to know how these clothes are made. Did you know 1/3 of the clothes made end up in a wasteland because they aren't sold? THAT'S CRAZY!!!

As a result, I try to find pre-loved pieces at thrift stores. Also, you save money! Finding unique pieces at thrift shops also make me love them more because it's almost like finding a one-of-a-kind. Please watch The True Cost if you get the chance! (It's on Netflix) It really makes you think twice before you shop.

xx Amanda

  1. I agree with your words. Fash fashion stores are amazing you can find really all the latest trends. But exactly because they are cheap, or trends are so fast, we tent to buy too much or to buy things we wear once only!!

  2. I love your top :)
